Argentine Tango was born from the encounter of Southern/eastern European, Indigenous and African cultures in Argentina. Its music is pervaded by nostalgia. Its dance sparks from the connection between two bodies through the emblematic 'abrazo' embrace in Spanish.
Laura has been teaching and performing argentine tango since 2017.
She is interested in finding out tango's root principles and breaking down the mechanics of movement, while honouring the history of this dance form.
Within the tradition of tango, Laura aims at making her classes accessible and inclusive, promoting a fluid interchange between roles, not based on gender but on the individual's choice.
